Counsel that is not in the Nature & Character of Christ Jesus & in Grace is not Biblical
counsel.
Counsel that is not Finished Work (Purpose of the Cross) will never reveal the unconditional
love of God.
The Adamic nature (old sin nature) is ready to blame others, swift to accuse and pass judgement.
By the way WE ALL HAVE an Adamic Nature. In fact God has said; "Wherefore, as by one man (Adam) sin entered into the world,
and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that we all have sinned"... "Nevertheless, death reigned from Adam
to Moses, even over them that had not yet sinned after the similitude of Adam's trangression"... See Romans 5:12-14.
God has imputed Adam's sin to the whole human race, therefore, we all have come short of the glory
of God. This is the first of three imputations of God.
Without the Finished Work, counsel is merly Adam counseling Adam, and such is without God.
Finished Work counsel is to reveal the unconditional love, mercy and grace of God through the Cross
of Jesus. When people begin to understand this and how God sees them in Christ, healing begins to take place.
What are we focused on? Are we focused on what people are doing to us, or on ourselves (indwelling
and magnifying on our sin or failure)? Self-preservation and selfishness are the root problem in most cases.
Healthyness begins with humility and esteeming others more than ourselves. Jesus paid for all our
sins, therefore, sin is not the issue. The issue is on how God sees and thinks of us in Christ.
